Frequently asked questions
The quick answers to the things parents usually want to know.
What's the Point Talk Method?
It's the simple habit behind every Bloomwise wall. Researchers at Harvard call it serve-and-return: a child points at something, and the grown-up answers. So our posters are made to be pointed at. Your child spots a letter, a feeling, the sun. You name it, say it back, and add one more word. That's the return, and it's what wires a young brain the fastest. No prep, no flashcards, no screens. Hang them where they already look, the fridge, the hallway, beside the bed, and let fifteen minutes a day do the work. The Point Talk Method is a 15-minute-a-day routine built on serve-and-return, the back-and-forth that researchers at Harvard’s Center on the Developing Child identify as the main driver of early language. You hang the posters where your child already looks. They point. You talk. The Starter Guides tell you which poster and what to say each day, so there’s nothing to plan.
Will this work for our homeschool space?
It was made for one. Bloomwise started on our own homeschool wall, and the posters are designed to be pointed at, talked about and revisited every single day. However, these posters are pretty enough to be treated as framed art.
How does this actually help my child learn?
By age five, a child's brain reaches nearly 90% of its adult size. Most of that growth comes from what children see and repeat every day. Each Bloomwise print puts letters, words, characters, and feelings at your child's eye level, in the rooms where they spend the most time. Seen daily, they become familiar without flashcards, lessons, or screens. Parents tell us their children start pointing out letters and naming feelings on their own. A simple question like "Which letter starts your name?" turns a few seconds at the wall into real learning.
Are the posters laminated?
Every poster arrives with a double protective coat like lamination. No other learning brand currently uses this proprietary technology.
What age is this suited for?
Roughly 12 months through age 5. Toddlers start by pointing and naming and older children read sounds and words.

What if we're not smitten with our set?
Because learning doesn't happen overnight, and we don't think you should have to decide in a week whether something's working. When the posters first go up, kids are curious. They point, they ask questions, and they find their favorite animal on the alphabet poster. The real magic comes a few weeks later. That's when your little one starts sounding out letters on their own, names a feeling before a meltdown, or walks you through their morning routine without being asked. That takes time, and every child moves at their own pace. A 30-day window just isn't long enough to see it. 90 days gives your family a full season to live with the posters, build them into your routines, and watch your child grow with them. If you're not happy within those 90 days, just reach out and we'll make it right. No pressure, no rush, just time to see what Bloomwise can do in your home.
